Me

I was born in Kassel, in central Germany and was raised by my Japanese mother bilingually. During 11th grade, I lived with relatives in New Jersey, USA for one year before graduating high school back in Germany (Abitur).

Then, I spent one year in Tokyo sudying Japanese writing at Sophia University. I then went on to study Cultural Studies at Lüneburg University and spent another year in Japan, studying as an exchange student and working at the German Embassy in Tokyo as an intern during the „Germany in Japan Year 2004/2005“.

The Football World Cup in Germany 2006 offered many possibilities to work in the field of media. Since then, I have been establishing my freelance work as a translator, production coordinator and travel guide.
